“5:37PM Knickerbocker Ave.” Oil Painting on Canvas.
When I was 20 years old I moved away from home for the first time, to Brooklyn, NY. Knickerbocker Avenue is the street I lived next to in Brooklyn. I walked down this street and saw this view almost every day. It represents a very special time in my life. This is also the first large-scale painting I ever did. It’s all about trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone. For me, that means moving to a new city, and painting my first large-scale painting.
Size: 36 x 36 inches.
Winsor and Newton Oils
Fully Varnished
Due to the size of this painting, for safety during the shipping process, the canvas will be taken off the stretcher bars and carefully rolled and packaged. Once it arrives, it can be taken to a framing shop where it will be stretched back onto stretcher bars, as well as getting a decorative frame put on.
